Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently recruiting for a Database/Programmer Analyst to work within the ICT Services Group. The ICT Services deliver the IT infrastructure, information systems and support across the service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced environment. The Database/Programmer Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the ICT software and databases which are critical to the operation of the Service, are effectively managed and maintained.

Key areas of the role are:-

  • Support to the Oracle and SQL database environments.
  • Support to 3rd party and in-house developed software solutions.
  • Liaison with 3rd party software solution providers to ensure proper integration of products with new and existing software solutions and databases.

With excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, you will have experience with Oracle, SQL and VB Studio. Any experience of COGNOS will be desirable. Please refer to the person spec for further details of role requirements.
