Lancashire Combined Fire Authority is inviting applications from outstanding individuals to become its next Chief Fire Officer to build on our current achievement of being the only officially recognised Excellent Fire and Rescue Service in the UK.

You will have exceptional leadership qualities and possess the ability to inspire the Service to meet the demands of an unprecedented period of change and challenge. These will be supported by your proven record of success as a current senior operational Brigade Manager.

In conjunction with the Authority, you will set a long-term vision for the Service and ensure that it continues to achieve high operational standards.

You will be required to provide Principal Officer operational cover.

An attractive benefits package will apply including, if necessary, a relocation package.
